Takara Fight! Super Robot Life, 24 - Thundercracker MIB, unused (#11 of 36)

This is #11 out of 36. Slowly, I am getting there. Bear with me.

Again, not really lots to said that has not been said about this mold and this figure and this character, except that Maz has say lots and has recently shared a lot of wisdom on Thundercracker - you can head over this his Thundercracker post here.

The above is my "MIB" Canadian box pre-rub Thundercracker (don't ask me how that could happen) and has nothing to do with the Takara boxed 24-Thundercracker I am supposed to talk about in this post. Don't you just love the pre-rub Decepticon insignias though?

This is the Takara 24-Thundercracker. First, I don't understand why Thundercracker is numbered 24 and not 23. Why? Because in the cartoons, Megatron always says "Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp...". So in my mind, he is always the 'second' seeker after Starscream.

The other nagging thing in my mind about Thundercracker is how the toy is a deep glittery blue and not a light baby blue like in the cartoon. Who would not love a baby blue toy for boys?

You see, even the sides of the early G1 boxes are stunning.

No tech specs? What gives?

Alright, so here is the money shot - this Thundercracker is 100% complete and 100% unused. Wait, not really, I lied, the darn missilves have been cut from the sprue.

A complete set of paperworks. All in a day's work.

This is a close up of the styro insert. Friggin' cut missiles are still bothering me, not pretending that they don't.

  1. Such a beautiful specimen. Could you post a close up of the 2 white slips it comes with?
