Went back to Singapore for CNY this year and was there from 22 to 28 Jan 2012.

I just went for a special preview and wow, I was blown away, really. The only downside is that none of them will be released for sale until 1 January 2012. Argh!

I grabbed this when I was taking zfeakye around In's Point on 23 December. He was here in HK for holidays with his wife and son and E and I took him to In's Point for some good 'ol family fun - toy shopping!

Went down to YMT after work today and discovered that the Maketoys "Microbots" Bomber and Hover MIB has been released (aka not Powerglide and not Seaspray respectively).



Thought they looked interesting and would fit into my Henkei collection, so I bought a set. Price? HKD$250 (USD$32.10).

Here is Goodbye Convoy #2. 


It is not a "new" acquisition, but is an item I bought close to 10 months ago when I was skiing in Hokkaido. For one reason or another, I did not have the time to do a proper write up of this gem, but as they say 'better late than never'.


The thing is, Goodbye Convoy #1 was not very satisfying in terms of condition, so I had to go out there and get another one!

I was in Times Square today (not in the US, but in Causeway Bay), and saw this exhibition.
It was an Art exhibition by 3 Korean artists - Mioon, Shin Chi-Hyun and Yoo Young-Wun, title the "Korean Contemporary Art: The Power of Art".

This was a very exciting purchase for me and like all my other exciting purchases, E was there with me when I bought this - it is arguably one of the rarest Masterforce figures to obtain and probably one of the rarer Japanese exclusive Transformers out there.

The example I cited in my post was obviously the Headmaster heads, which were sold at prices which would make you conclude that they must be genuine. I walked to another shop and saw a Zhong Jin KO Metroplex selling for 8000yen.
